Over 1,000 homes in Cambridgeshire have experienced a power cut.
On Wednesday 22 May 2024, more than 800 homes near Ely and 200 homes near Peterborough lost power, likely due to a high voltage overhead electricity line fault.
Households in Soham, Wicken, Fordham, Isleham, and Chippenham were affected near Ely, as well as Papworth St Agnes, Papworth Everard, Caxton and Thorney.
UK Power Networks has said engineers are continuing to investigate the source of the power failures.
