Officers are appealing for information following a serious collision involving two off-road motorcycles in Christchurch on Monday.
The head-on collision involving the two motorcycles happened at about 8.50pm on the B1094, Upwell Road.
The rider of one of the bikes, a man in his 30s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains in a serious but non-life threatening condition.
The rider of the other bike left the scene before officers arrived.
Anyone who saw the collision or the vehicles in the lead up to it, or has dash cam footage, is urged to contact police via web chat or by calling 101, quoting incident number 428 of 28 September.
Separately, police have issued an appeal following a serious collision near Waterbeach.
It happened on Sunday on Clayhithe Road when a motorbike and two cars collided.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The drivers of the cars - a Honda and a Volkswagen - were not injured and stopped at the scene.
Police are now looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the motorcyclist just prior to it. They would particularly like to hear from two motorcyclists who were in the area at the time of the collision but did not stop at the scene.
