Police are appealing for information following a collision in Cambridge which has left a cyclist in a serious condition in hospital.
At about 6.40am on Thursday (5 August) the cyclist, a 32-year-old man, was involved in a collision with a white Volkswagen Transporter in Cherry Hinton Road near the junction with Greystoke Road.
Paramedics began providing treatment at the scene, but he was later taken to Addenbrookes Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the Volkswagen remained at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or believes they saw the cyclist or vehicle in the build up to it, is asked to contact police on 101.
