Winger Sullay Kaikai has agreed to stay at the Abbey Stadium for another year.

The 28-year-old joined the U's last summer on an initial one-year deal and made 47 appearances across all competitions.

His high point came in February, as he was named Love Cambridge Player of the Month following four assists and one goal.

Kaikai has said "The club is heading in an exciting direction and I want to play my part in it."

Cambridge United Head Coach Garry Monk:

"I am delighted Sullay has decided to rejoin us.

"He is a player who has undoubted qualities and has shown in the past he can provide match-winning moments with the attributes he has.

"I believe there is more to come from him, and with the hard work we are going to demand from the players this season, Sullay has the opportunity to take his game to new levels."
