Police have found a body in a search for a missing teenager in Cambridge.
Emergency services were called at 5.26pm on Monday 12 August 2024 following concerns for a teenage boy in the water at Burnside Lakes in Cherry Hinton.
It is believed the boy, who is 16 and from the Essex area, was swimming in the lake with a group of friends when he got into difficulty.
Search teams recovered a body from the lake at around 1pm on Tuesday 13 August 2024 and have said it is believed to be that of the missing body and his family have been notified.
