A man from Hemingford Grey has been jailed after attacking his partner on Boxing Day.
Adrian Fox, 48, and the victim were at their Grove Lane home when an argument broke out on the morning of 26 December 2024.
It continued throughout the day until, at just before 6pm, Fox launched a violent attack, strangling the victim, slapping her in the face, headbutting her, and dragging her across the floor by her hair.
A neighbour called the police after hearing a disturbance, and on Wednesday 29 January 2025, Fox was sentenced to two years and one month in prison.
