Sisters Bucks and Fizz have their paws crossed for a new beginning at Blue Cross Cambridge rehoming centre.
The two black cats have been waiting for a new home at the national pet charity’s rehoming centre on Garlic Row for more than 150 days.
The ten year old pair were brought into Blue Cross by their previous owner because they could no longer look after them because of a change in their circumstances.
Clare Trippett, Blue Cross Cambridge centre manager, said: “We really hope a new beginning is on the horizon for Bucks and Fizz.
“They are such a lovely, friendly pair that we’re sure they will bring sparkle to their new home. They are like two peas in a pod who both love attention and to curl up on a vacant lap.
“Older cats are often overlooked for kittens and younger cats but people forget that they can live for more than 20 years.
“We’re sure whoever makes their mind up to rehome this pair won’t be disappointed because they really will make great companions.”
Bucks and Fizz are looking for an indoor home and can live with other pets and children. Due to her age, Bucks requires ongoing medication for her high blood pressure but the condition is easily managed by daily tablets which she takes with her food.
