Pictures showed the van engulfed in flames but nobody was seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to the A47 at the junction with Black Drove at 4.35pm on Monday 27 November 2023.
The road was shut between Guyhirn and Thorney until the early hours of Tuesday but has now reopened.
The bus was carrying school children at the time, but none were injured.
The van driver sustained minor injuries, but did not need hospital treatment.

Fire crews were called from from Wisbech and March to deal with the flames before recovery work began.
No arrests have been made.
