The shop in the Grafton is set to open on Monday (April 12th) for a last-minute fire sale.
The department store chain was bought by the online store Boohoo in a £55m deal after falling into administration. Boohoo is retaining the Debenhams brand but is closing all its physical stores, including the branch in Cambridge's Grafton Centre.
Earlier this year the 242-year-old chain, made around 500 roles redundant at its distribution centre at Kingston Park, Peterborough after 12 years.
The Grafton Centre store is opening until May 15th to clear remaining stock as part of plans to wind up the physical store estate.
Debenhams say they intend to offer up to 70% off fashion and home products, and up to 50% off beauty and fragrance lines.
Stores in Bury St Edmunds, Stevenage, Bedford, Ipswich, Norwich and Chelmsford are also reopening for the clearance sale before final closure next month.
