
Muhammad Malik, 36, will appear at Cambridge Crown Court tomorrow (April 7) charged with the murder of Asia Tufail.
Police were contacted at 6.51am on November 22 2016 to reports of concern for a woman at a property in Perne Road, Cambridge. Officers and paramedics attended the scene. The woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, but sadly died of her injuries.
A post mortem conducted by Dr Ben Swift at Peterborough City Hospital concluded that Ms Tufail, 32, died of asphyxia at the hands of a third party.
