A Cambridge protestor has appeared in court.
Mahoney Goodman, 21, of Long Reach Road, Cambridge appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court where she pleaded guilty to obstructing/disrupting persons engaged in lawful activity.
On 21st February she climbed onto the roof of the Shell garage in Newnham Road and refused to leave causing the business to have to close.
Police were called to the garage and five protestors were arrested at the scene.
The group blocked all vehicles from entering the petrol station by holding up a large banner which read "Life or Death".
Goodman was ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
