Cambridge United have completed the loan signing of exciting young forward Dom Ballard.
The England U20 international joins on loan from Southampton until the end of the season.
Just a few months after signing his first professional contract, Ballard scored against the U’s on his first team debut in August 2022, as the Saints won 3-0 at the Abbey in the EFL Cup.
He has since featured for Reading and Blackpool on loan, scoring again against United during the 4-4 draw against the Seasiders earlier this season.
