Cambridge United have signed forward Dan Nlundulu on a season-long loan.

The 25-year-old joined the U’s on transfer deadline day from Bolton Wanderers to become the club’s twelfth and final signing of the summer window.

Nlundulu progressed through the Southampton Academy as a youngster before signing professional terms with the Saints in 2019.

He made twelve Premier League appearances during the 2020/21 season, before loan spells at Lincoln City and Cheltenham, and then joined Bolton Wanderers permanently last summer.

Cambridge United head coach Garry Monk:

"Dan is an extremely talented forward who will add a lot to the team this season. I am delighted to welcome him to the club.

"He is a dynamic player that has all the attributes we have been looking for to add to our striker options. I am really pleased that he is with us and look forward to working him over the course of the year."
