Cambridge United have announced their new club crest from the 25/26 season.
Over the past 18 months, the club has been on a journey to create and evolve it's identity as part of an ongoing modernisation project.
Following in-person events and an online survey of 2,500 supporters, the club has settled on a new club crest as well as a number of sub-identities.
The new identity will be used from June 2025 and has received full endorsement from the Cambridge United Shadow Board.
- United In Endeavour Scarf - The motto is carried in a scarf to represent the club’s unity with its supporters
- Bookmark - The bookmark represents the educational landscape and will be used to illustrate key dates in U's history
- CUFC Circle - A simplified version of the new Crest
- 1912 Lamp Post - Represents the city and year of formation
- Abbey Stadium - An icon to represent the home and roots of the Club

Cambridge United Majority Owner Paul Barry:
"This new identity is modern and inclusive but, importantly, representative of who we are as a club and our proud history.
"It is far from being a redesign for redesigns sake rather we see it as integral to our modernisation programme across the club and believe it can help us unlock further financial opportunities to the benefit of the playing side of the club."
