Engineers at Cambridge University have reconstructed a 1900s cricket bowling machine.
Using patent illustrations and old photographs, the team brought the contraption - which was originally designed by Venn Diagram creator Dr John Venn - to life.
The machine propels the cricket ball using a throwing arm powered by elastic rope, and it can even put spin on the ball.
The first model stumped the Australian cricket team in the early 1900s, and the reconstruction will be used by Cambridge University to inspire young budding engineers.
