It's the gig that all budding Pop and Rock stars dream of. Playing Glastonbury. And it's a dream come true for one artist from Cambridgeshire.
Alongside acts like Arctic Monkeys, Elton John and Lizzo - Ellie Dixon from Foxton finds herself on this year's lineup, having first been discovered back in 2021.
Overcoming stage-fright and nerves to perform on the local circuit, Ellie first began writing and recording songs as a teenager in her bedroom. Since then she's signed a record deal with label Decca, has toured with revered a capella group Pentatonix, and played at Lattitude Festival in 2021.
Ellie's style is best described as 'alt-pop, and her infectious energy and catchy riffs are certain to be a hit with this year's Glastonbury crowd.
Speaking ahead of her departure for the festival, Ellie said:
"It feels like things have really accelerated in the last few months and it feels quite surreal. "I've had rehearsals with my band, we've made it a really big show for Glastonbury, I'm really excited. "It feels really, really magical."
210,000 will attend across the weekend - making Glastonbury the biggest festival in the United Kingdom. However, it comes from humble beginnings - launching in 1970 as the "Pilton Pop, Folk & Blues Festival" It ran for just one day, and tickets were just £1. You even got free milk from Michael Eavis' farm! In comparison, weekend tickets for this year's Glastonbury festival cost £335 plus fees.
(and no semi-skimmed milk is offered or implied.)
