Chocolate theft spotted by police in Huntingdon

There will be "no sweet ending" after police spotted a chocolate theft in Huntingdon.

Two women have been arrested on suspicion of stealing hundreds of pounds worth of chocolate.

On Friday 11 October 2024, the pair were caught by an off-duty police officer in the Huntingdon Aldi supermarket, allegedly hiding the treats in their jackets.

On social media, Cambridgeshire Police quipped it was not a "sweet ending", as £212.14 worth of chocolate was returned to the store.
