OFFICERS are currently at the scene of a collision involving a police firearms vehicle and a Land Rover Discovery on the A1(M) at Brampton.
The Land Rover flipped and landed on its roof, however the driver has walked away with minor injuries.
Two officers who were in the marked police BMW suffered minor injuries.
The road has been closed on the northbound carriageway between Brampton Hut and the Spittals interchange and will remain closed for some time while traffic officers look into what caused the collision.
