County Lines Drug Dealer Jailed

A London drug dealer who travelled to Cambridge to sell crack cocaine and heroin has been jailed.

Police raided Nesta Baffi’s home in London on 19 May after suspecting he was a county lines drug dealer.

In his bedroom they found crack cocaine and heroin worth more than £2,000 as well as three mobile phones containing messages to drug users across Cambridgeshire.

At Cambridge Crown Court, Baffi, 31, of Reedham Close, was sentenced to six years and three months in prison after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Detective Constable Beccy Halls, who investigated, said: “Baffi was responsible for running a criminal enterprise offering to supply calls A drugs within Cambridgeshire.

“Using phone data we were able to link him to the ‘bakes’ drugs line.

“County lines dealers prey on the vulnerabilities of others in order to run their business and make money.

“We are dedicated to disrupting these lines and bringing people like Baffi responsible, before the courts to make our communities safer.”
