It happened whilst he was being driven to custody.
Police found Glen Begley, 35, of Ely Road, Littleport, asleep in his van parked at Ely Leisure Park with bottles of alcohol.
Begley was arrested and while being transported to the station he urinated in the back of the police van.
Begley pleaded guilty to criminal damage and being in charge of a motor vehicle whilst unfit through drink.
He was disqualified from driving for six months.
