Councillors have hit out at East West Rail for not being transparent and ignoring residents.
East West Rail said it "strives to be open and honest" about its plans, adding that it "truly values" the feedback it receives.
The comments were made by South Cambridgeshire district councillors at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday 14 January 2025.
The East West Rail project aims to build a new train line between Cambridge and Oxford, with new stations proposed at Tempsford and Cambourne.
A consultation on the plans runs until 24 January 2025.
