Elderly man charged after Kings Hedges stabbing

An elderly man has charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Kings Hedges.

Emergency services were called to Hawkins Road, in the Kings Hedges area of Cambridge, at around 2.02pm on Thursday 14 November 2024. 

A man in his 60s had been stabbed and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Philip Sheath, 70 and from Hawkins Road, was arrested at the scene, and on Friday 15 November 2024 he was charged with attempted murder.
