ELY MARKETS MARK THE END OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS

The summer holidays will come full circle for Ely Markets as they end the six-week break the same way as it started, with a celebration. Following the success of the first ‘Summer Late’ event, the second family-focused market is set to take place from 4pm on Friday 1st September.

There will be a variety of food and drink options for visitors including Poppy-Up –Bar, cheesecakes by The Dessert Man, Souvlaki Shack’s Greek street food, speciality cheeses and wine from Hum-Closen and Wood Fired Food Co pizza.

The Summer Late will also feature family friendly retailers and entertainment including Rock-A-Hula dresses, bouncy castles, face painting and live music.

Emma Grima, Commercial Director of the East Cambs Trading Company, said: “We are pleased to be hosting our second Summer Late in quick succession, following such a positive uptake. With such an array of stalls on offer, Ely Markets is a place for all the family.”

Admission is free and this is a family friendly event. Many stallholders also feature as part of our regular weekly markets.
