Funding has been secured to protect ATMs after a spate of ram raids.
Heavy-duty planters will be installed at some cash machines, starting with the Co-op on School Lane in Cambourne.
Research into where else could benefit from protection is continuing - another 14 sites have been identified.
It follows multiple thefts in the area where thieves us diggers and farm machinery to rip ATMs out of shops.
Longstanton, Bassingbourn, Soham and Newmarket have all been targeted in recent months.
