Family of stab victim want to bring body home to Newmarket

The family of a woman killed in East London want to bring her body home to Newmarket.

The Metropolitan Police were called to an address in Walthamstow at about 3am on Monday 22 July 2024, following reports of an injured woman.

32-year-old Alana Odysseos was found with stab wounds and she died at the scene; Shaine March, 45, from Surrey, has been charged with her murder.

Alana's family, who live in Cambridgeshire, have launched a fundraiser to help pay for a funeral and burial in her home town of Newmarket.
