A crew from Linton was called to an unattended bonfire about five metres by five metres that was well alight in the woods at Linton.
Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to the station by 10.03pm.
Cause of the fire was accidental.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Resscue Service said: “Bonfires should never be left unattended and should always be supervised by an adult until they have burnt out.”
