Firefighters tackle major blaze at Cambridgeshire services

Firefighters have tackled a blaze at the Fourwentways services in Cambridgeshire.

Emergency services were called to Newmarket Road in Little Abington at around 4.20am on Monday 1 July 2024.

A large fire had broken out at the Fourwentways services, which includes a petrol station, Burger King restaurant and Travelodge hotel.

Newmarket Road was shut, just off the A11, while fire crews worked to ensure the area was safe.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
