Girl and man seriously injured in Ellington crash

A young girl and a man have been seriously hurt in a crash on the A14 at Ellington.

Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway at around 5.45pm on Sunday 26 January 2025 after a white Kia Sportage and black Volkswagen Passat CC collided.

The collision is believed to have caused by a detached lorry tyre.

The driver of the Sportage, a 35-year-old man from the Cambridge area, and an 11-year-old girl who was a passenger, were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, with serious injuries.
