The bridge between Huntingdon and Godmanchester dates back to the fourteenth century.
Emergency services were called to the Old Bridge on Thursday 7 December 2023.
Local firefighters, ambulance crews and police officers all attended the two car crash and ensured the two drivers were removed safely from their vehicles.
Nobody was seriously hurt.
However, the bridge has not escaped unharmed.
Police say damage assessments are being conducted by local partner authorities.
The bridge reopened on Friday 8 December 2023.
