Jonathan Djanogly has stepped down as Huntingdon MP after 23 years.
Mr Djanogly has been the Conservative MP for Huntingdon since 7 June 2001, taking over from the former Prime Minister John Major.
He has served on the Trade and Industry Select Committee, as well as several Standing Committees, and in 2006, he led the Opposition team on the Companies Bill - the longest piece of legislation ever!
Between 2004 and 2010, he worked on the Conservative front bench as Shadow Solicitor General, and from 2021 to 2012 he served as the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice.
A statement from Mr Djanogly:
"It’s been an amazing journey and I remain forever thankful to my constituents for this tremendous opportunity.
"I am also so grateful to Party members, friends and family who have supported me over the years."
