A DRUG dealer who used a deodorant can to hide his supply of crack and heroin has been jailed for four and a half years.
Emanuel Olliviere, 19, of City Road, Hackney, London, pleaded guilty to four counts of being concerned in supplying a controlled drug of class A to another at Cambridge Crown Court on the Tuesday June 13.
The court heard how Olliviere, an out of county drug dealer, was found in Chesterton Road, Cambridge, on December 13 2016, in a vulnerable drug users flat. He had moved himself into the address to deal crack and heroin, a term called “cuckooing”.
Officers found him with 63 wraps of crack and heroin, with a street value of around £630, hidden inside a deodorant can. They also discovered two mobile phones and a large amount of cash.
Olliviere was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and bailed out of Cambridgeshire.
The following week, on January 17, officers were called to a house in Jack Warren Green where Olliviere was found cuckooing again. He said he had to return to Cambridge to sell drugs because losing the last lot when he was arrested had got him into debt with his boss. He was arrested for supplying crack and heroin, and later charged with possession with intent to supply class “A” drugs and remanded into custody.
PC Matt Smith said: “Olliviere was operating a drugs line from London to Cambridge City. The quantity of drugs in his possession demonstrated that he was dealing.
“His actions showed a distinct lack of regard for the others by taking over a vulnerable persons home to run a drugs business.”
