Defender James Gibbon has signed a new two-year deal at Cambridge United.
After joining on loan in January 2024, Gibbons make 13 appearances over the final few months of the 2023/24 season.
He has now made the move permanent by a signing a two-year contract with the U’s.
Gibbons has said he is "buzzing to be back" and that the decision to commit to the U's until 2026 was an "easy" one.
Cambridge United Head Coach Garry Monk:

"He adds great experience & versatility to the team, as well as tremendous leadership skills as an example to others in the group - I am very happy that he is back with us."
