Detectives investigating the death of a woman in St Ives have charged a man.
Police were called at 7.30am on Monday (22 February) with reports of a sudden death at an address in Norris Road, St Ives.
Ernest Grusza, 40, of Norris Road, St Ives, has been charged with murder.
He remains in custody to appear virtually at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (24 February).
Detective Inspector Dale Mepstead, said: "Our thoughts go out to this woman's family and loved ones at this difficult time.
"I would like to reassure the public that we believe this to be an isolated incident and there will be an increased police presence in the area while our investigation continues.
“I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with us, if they have not done so already."
