A man has died following an incident on the westbound carriageway of the A14 near Histon yesterday evening.
At about 8pm the man fell from the B1049 bridge over the road and was struck by an HGV.
Emergency services attended, but sadly the man died at the scene. The road was closed in both directions until roughly 1am.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and will be passed to the coroner.
