A man who erratically drove his vehicle at towards a crowd of people has been jailed for a year.
Aneurin Juniper, 27, of Kingfisher Gardens, Trumpington, was in his Renault Megan when he drove across Coleridge recreation ground on 24 June last year (2020).
He headed towards adults and children shouting ‘I’m going to kill you’ and ‘I’m going to stab you’.
Members of the public called police as Juniper drove off towards Trumpington and into the path of a police officer. He was arrested later in the day.
Juniper was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court to a year in prison after previously pleading guilty to dangerous driving.
