A man in his 50s has been seriously hurt in a stabbing in Cambridge.

The man was attacked on Station Square at about 12.15am on Thursday 16 May 2024, and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The suspect has been described as a man wearing a dark hooded top with white lines down the shoulders and arms, black trousers with a white patch on the hips, and black shoes.

The suspect cycled off on a white bike towards Devonshire Road.

DC Andy Watters, Cambridgeshire Police:

"This was a shocking assault and I am appealing for people to come forward with information.

"It took place in a busy area, outside Cambridge Railway Station, and we know there were taxis in the area and people walking past.

"If you saw anything, please do get in touch."
