Milton Country Park Autumn Festival 2017

Milton Country Park’s Autumn Festival returns in September for its fourth year, promising to be bigger and better yet still just as charming as ever!

Proudly committed to supporting local independent foodies, crafters and creatives, the Autumn Festival is not your average family fun day.  With wild outdoor play, traditional craft, magical adventures and a hint of days gone by, this is a fashionably-old-fashioned event.  Children can be found playing in piles of hay and climbing on tractors, dressing-up and enjoying wood craft and magical workshops.  Adults can enjoy some of our finest local street food, real ales and cider and live music in an attractive park setting.

This year award winning street food collective foodPark return to Remembrance Meadow and are joined by a host of other local foodies including Provenance’s restaurant-quality food served from an airstream, a Pinkster gin pop-up, a vintage tea tent in the orchard, local ales and cider and delicious food to take home from jams and chutneys to cheeses, breads, cakes and brownies. 

Some of Cambridge’s most popular live bands including; Big Ten, Oscar Corney, Mortal Tides, Saltfen and Alton Wahlberg will be playing on the main stage.  You can also enjoy apple pressing in the orchard, a craft market, Forest School activities, a canoe safari, paddleboard games, theatre and circus workshops, storytellers,  a miniature steam train in the meadow and local charity Hoveraid giving hovercraft rides on the lake!

Whether you’re a food lover, want to shop for some original gifts or spend time with the kids doing something a bit different, the Autumn Festival is the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and celebrate the season of plenty!

All proceeds go towards the upkeep of Milton Country Park and help keep this lovely green space open and accessible for everyone to enjoy.  This year £1 in every ticket goes towards the park’s playground appeal!
