Former head coaches Neil Harris and Mark Bonner are back at The Abbey.
Neil Harris has rejoined Cambridge United as Head Coach, whilst Mark Bonner has been appointed the new Director of Football.
It follows the departure of Garry Monk as Head Coach on Sunday 16 February 2025, with the club bottom of the League One table.
Neil Harris left Cambridge United almost exactly a year ago, on 21 February 2024, to join Championship side Millwall.
Cambridge United Majority Owner Paul Barry:
"Mark Bonner will be returning as our new Director of Football. He knows the club inside out - its strengths, its culture and values, and also the areas that we must seek to improve."
"Neil Harris is returning as Head Coach on a contract until June 2027. He made a significant impact at the club over a short period last season. He is a winner and his track record as a Head Coach speaks for itself."
