Northstowe Tap & Social welcomes first customers

A new social venue has opened in the South Cambridgeshire town.

It's hoped the site just off Station Road will become a hub of activity for those living in or moving to Northstowe.

The taproom boasts a mezzanine balcony and projector for screening films and sports plus outdoor seating.

As well as 21 beers on tap, Sawston-based Thorne Wines have helped with the wine list and Rennet and Rind will be supplying cheese.

However, due to delays in receiving an alcohol licence application, they will only be serving tea and coffee this weekend along with food from Steak and Honour and baked goods.
