Police appeal following crash in Cambridge

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man had his electric bike taken following a collision.

The 27-year-old man from West Yorkshire was riding the electric bike on Glebe Way in Histon when he was involved in the collision with a white or silver Mercedes at about 10.45pm on 27 June.

The passenger of the Mercedes got out and rode off on the bike towards Cambridge, followed by the Mercedes, leaving the man with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to hospital and has been discharged but has still not fully recovered from his injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact police via Cambridgeshire Constabulary's website quoting 35/46035/24 or call 101.
