Police appeal following Stretham crash

Police appeal following crash in Stretham.

A pedestrian was seriously injured in a collison involving a car on Saturday 17 August.

It happened on the A1123 Newmarket Road in Stretham.

A blue Vauxhall Corsa was travelling between Stretham and Wicken on the A1123 when the collision with the pedestrian happened at about 10:10am.

The man, who was in his 50s and from Longstanton, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains.

The driver of the car, a 49-year-old woman from Haddenham, remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries. 

Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the collision, or the moments before or after, should contact Cambridgeshire Police through the force's website using reference 160 of 17 August.
