Four men threatened staff and stole cash in an aggravated burglary in Waterbeach.
The masked men targeted the One Stop shop on Green Side with axes and iron bars at just after 9pm on Thursday 9 January 2025.
Nobody was injured, but an unknown amount of cash was taken from the till.
The men fled in a blue Vauxhall Mokka, later found abandoned in a lay-by on the A10 near Denny End Road, where they are thought to have switched to a different car.
DC Callum Fullwood, Cambridgeshire Police:
"This was a frightening incident for staff, and I can only imagine how they must have felt when confronted by armed men.
"It is thought to be an isolated incident but there will be an increased police presence in the area today and over the weekend."
