At 3.17pm on Friday (21) two crews from St Neots and one crew from Huntingdon were called to a road traffic collision on the A1.
Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving two cars on the northbound carriageway near Southoe. Using specialist cutting equipment they released one casualty.
The crews returned to their stations by 5.35pm.
