Serious Collision In Willingham

A woman is in a life-threatening condition following a collision in Willingham.

Emergency services were called to Station Road at 11.20am today (22 September) with reports of a collision involving a lorry and two pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians, a woman, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The other pedestrian, a child, has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the lorry, a 67-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop. He remains in custody at the Police Investigation Centre in Kings Lynn.

Police would like to hear from anyone in the area who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.
