Soham Pumpkin Fair returns for 43rd year

The Pumpkin Fair is returning to Soham for its 43rd year this September. Following last year’s success, shops and businesses will once again be adorning their windows with all things pumpkin in support of the initiative. The Soham Town Team support the festivities by dressing the windows of local shops and businesses throughout the town centre.

This year’s theme is Harry Potter and shops and businesses all around Soham Town centre have been joining in with the celebrations.

Cllr Carol Sennitt, Chair of Soham Town Team said: “We are very pleased that the shops and businesses have once again got behind our promotional activity and dressed their windows.  We hope that the attractive window displays will encourage visitors to the Pumpkin Fair to also visit our shops.”

The fair starts at 1.30 pm on Soham Recreation Ground on Saturday 30th September where East Cambridgeshire District Council’s recycling hero Michael Recycle will also make an appearance.
