Lynne Grummitt’s laptop computer was found to contain 691 indecent images of children at category A – the worst kind – 617 at category B and 291 at category C.
A further 24 indecent images of children, categorised at all three levels, and two pornographic images of adult bestiality were found on her mobile phone and a hard drive.
Police inquiries also found Grummitt had been talking to four men via the Kik chat app on her phone, between February 2020 and February 2021, about their shared interest in children and exchanged indecent photos.
Grummitt, 39, of Mill Corner, Soham, was arrested and three electronic devices were seized following a police warrant in Burnaby Close, Brampton, on 22 September 2020.
She has appeared at Cambridge Crown Court after admitting three counts of making an indecent photo of a child, two counts of distributing indecent photo of a child and possession of an extreme pornographic image.
She was handed a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work.
Detective Sergeant George Neal said: “Our priority is to protect vulnerable children and thanks to some great police work Grummitt has been exposed as a high risk to children."
