The Post Office in the village of Sutton near Ely will shut down in June.
The branch, on Sutton High Street, was originally due to close in March, but continued to operate for the next few months.
Customers have now been told the final day of trading will be Thursday 27 June 2024.
The Post Office has said the move follows a decline in demand for services and the resignation of retail parner One Stop.
However, some locals have argued that the store remains well-used and vital to the village.
