Waterbeach is gearing up for an exciting event this Sunday as over 40 local small businesses prepare to showcase their wares and services at the community market.
The not-for-profit market, organised by a dedicated team of volunteers, aims to support the local economy while providing a platform for small businesses to thrive.
One of the key highlights of this year's market is its charitable focus. The National Association for the Children of Alcoholics (NACoA) has been selected as the designated charity for this year. As part of their commitment to giving back to the community, the market organisers offer two free stalls to local charities every month, enabling them to raise awareness and funds for their respective causes.
Held at the Old Barracks in Waterbeach, visitors can enjoy browsing through a diverse range of offerings from 10 am to 3 pm.
Adding to its appeal, the market shares its location with the local Military Museum, which opens its doors for free on market days. This unique combination allows visitors to explore both the market and the fascinating exhibits at the museum, creating an enriching experience for all.
