Witness appeal following collision

OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A1307 on Saturday (10 March) where one of the drivers failed to stop.

The collision, which involved a Black Subaru Impreza and a blue Ford Transit, took place at about 3.45pm.

The Subaru left the road as a result of the collision and the driver received minor injuries. The driver of the Ford did not stop at the scene.

PC Doug McColm said: “I’d appeal directly to the driver of the Ford to get in touch as a matter of urgency.

“We’d also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles in the build up to what happened. We’re particularly keen to see any dashcam footage that people may have.”

Anyone with information should call 101 and ask to speak to PC McColm quoting CC-10032018-0264. Alternatively visit www.cambs.police.uk/report.
