Whether you're looking for a challenge or a fun day out, Race For Life is a fantastic event which you can take part in on your own - or with friends, family, neighbours or colleagues.

There's a choice of a 5k and 10k route, both taking in some of the most impressive sites and views of the historic city centre. The event's open to everyone - and there's no time pressure to finish. Go at your own pace and enjoy the experience while raising money for Cancer Research UK's pioneering work.

This year's Race For Life in Cambridge takes place on Sunday 29th June starting and finishing on Jesus Green.

Money raised at Race for Life enables scientists including those working at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer – helping to save more lives.

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, in partnership with Standard Life, is the UK’s largest charity mass participation event. Since it began in 1994 around 10m people have taken part, raising over £970m to help fund cutting-edge research into cancer.
